Intentional Serendipity
There is a difference between serendipity and intentionality. I often drop by CREMA for coffee with the hopes of running into a good conversation — and it often works.
I sometimes go to CREMA with a scheduled meeting — making that visit very intentional — even if the intentional is just reconnecting or checking on how the other is doing or sitting there to go over a specific topic.
When it comes to community building we need much more intentionality yet it always helps to have some serendipity.
